New sunglasses, with special feature “comically thick lenses!”

The optician had to find me an extra-large glasses case, because the arms of the glasses don’t close all the way.  They don’t seem to look awful when I’m wearing them (they do cause significant distortion at the moment, though), but taking them off and looking at them makes me think, “Jesus, these aren’t glasses, they’re an abstinence aid.”
